Cleaning Dyeable Shoes?

It’s probably too late for me to do anything about it, but I thought I’d ask —
I have a pair of Dyeables pumps, dyed pale yellow (they’re my Belle shoes). After 3 years, they absolutely filthy looking (especially thanks to trooping places like the zoo in that costume!) I’ve tried a little soap and water, but it’s not helping…. I always get asked at least once or twice by little girls what kind of shoes I have on, so I end up showing them – and the past couple of times I’ve been embarrassed by how dirty they are LOL

I’ve got some stain remover I’m about to test on the heel – but I thought maybe someone else had had this problem/knew of something to use on them.

first try soaking them in ivory soap and warm water. If they need further cleaning soak them in biz detergent. This may affect the color, so test a small section (inside the heel or something) first. If that doesn’t do the trick, oxy clean will definitely fix them up but might also remove the color for sure. It might be worth re-dyeing them anyway. good luck!

My Parade gown shoes are filthy from wearing them one day! I have been told that make up remover workes really well and won’t remove the dye! I havene’t tried it yet but it is worth a go!
